Open Invitation to Join the Lions Club of Waterford’s 4th of July Parade
If you participated in last year’s parade we would like to thank you & if you are new to the parade this year we would like to welcome you to our parade and activities. Once again the Waterford Lions Club is sponsoring the events and festivities.
Our parade theme is:
“A Salute to America’s Heroes”
The parade will step off on July 4th at 11:00 am. We ask that you pre-register for the parade. Once we have your registration we will mail you the parade route and rules. Please fill out the downloadable form and return to:

We would like to encourage people of all ages to participate in the parade. In the past, floats have been made with much imagination and creativity, in keeping with the parade theme. As in the past, all entrants in the parade that wish to be judged will be eligible for a cash prize. Cash prizes are awarded to first and second place in several divisions.
- Best of Parade (one winner who best portrays the theme)
- Commercial Floats
- Non-Commercial Floats
- Open Class
- Automotive (trophy, not cash)

Waterford Lions 4th Of July Duck Raffle!
This year there are a total of 10 prizes as follows:
- 1 – Grand Prize winner of $500
- 1 – 2nd place winner of $400
- 1 – 3rd place winner of $300
- 1 – 4th place winner of $200
- 6 – 5th place winners of $100 each
Tickets are $3 for one raffle ticket or $5 for two raffle tickets.
Tickets are available along the parade route on the 4th sold by Lions Club members. You can also get your raffle tickets ahead of time at Bon Voyage Cruise on Milwaukee Street, or at specific times outside the Waterford Pick and Save, or from any Waterford Lions Club Member.
The Raffle will be conducted after the parade on the 4th of July near the river in Ten Club Park. The official drawing time is 1:30pm. Winners need not be present to win!

The 22nd ANNUAL RIVER CITY 4TH FEST 5K RUN Starts at 8am.
Preregistered entry fee of $18.00 is due July 2nd. Day of race registration is $20.00. All entries will receive a complimentary ticket for the “Waterford Lions Club Duck Raffle”. You need not be present to win. Day of race registration will open at 6:45 a.m. and close at 7:45 a.m.
