Independence Day!

The Waterford 4th of July Parade and Kids Parade is going on as scheduled! This year's theme is “United We Stand”. With everything going on this year we would like this to be the best parade ever! Please enter your float, car, tractor, band, organization, business or whatever you may have. We would also like to make a special place in our parade to honor our Doctors and Nurses, and our 2020 Graduates from Middle School, High School and College. We will accommodate vehicles, walking in groups or floats.

The Lioness Club will be sponsoring the very popular Kids Parade, starting at Milwaukee St. & Main at 10:30am and proceeding north to Fox Mead Crossing. Registration forms are available Here or register on site beginning at 9:30am. Decorate your bike, wagon or yourself in Patriotic fashion. Winners will receive ice cream and gift certificates from Uncle Harry’s Frozen Custard.

The main parade kicks off at 11am and will proceed from 7th & Main to Milwaukee Street and turn north to Trailside. Check in is from 9:30-10:45am at 5th & Aber Streets. If interested in participating in the parade please find a registration form www.waterfordlionsclub.org or contact parade chairman Scott Gunderson at 414-581-3157. Entries can be made right up to July 4th.

And don’t forget to get your pins for the Great Duck Raffle! Duck pins will be sold along the parade route, from any Lions Club of Waterford member or on our Facebook page.  Proceeds from the Great Duck Raffle go to our local food banks and help pay parade expenses. The drawing will be held at 1:30pm at the Lions Food Stand.

Food and beverages will be available at the corner of Milwaukee St & Main St beginning at 9:30am.

The Waterford Lions Club would like to thank our sponsors and look forward to celebrating the 4th of July with everyone in Waterford!
